# Copy AI

> A go-to-market AI platform that codifies sales and marketing processes as Workflows, Agents, and Tables on top of a Brand Voice and Infobase.

Copy.ai calls itself the first AI-native GTM platform: Workflows codify a sales or marketing process, Actions are the building blocks, Tables hold the data, Agents run targeted tasks with guardrails, and Chat handles one-off jobs, all reading a shared Brand Voice and Infobase. It is model-agnostic across OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Perplexity.

Copy.ai calls itself "the first AI-native GTM platform," and the name is the only part of the product that still says copywriting. The headline is "Goodbye AI Copilots, Goodbye Point Solutions": rather than a chat box that writes ads, the product wants to hold the whole go-to-market process, from lead enrichment to localized content, as workflows that run on your data.

For a marketing team that is the important framing. Copy.ai's writing features are still there, but the value is in codifying a process once (a launch brief, a nurture sequence, a case-study pipeline) and running it repeatedly with the same brand rules.

## Highlights

- **Workflows and Actions.** Workflows are "AI-powered codifications of your processes, plays, and best practices." Actions are the building blocks inside them, so non-experts can assemble a multi-step job without prompting from scratch.
- **Tables.** A queryable data layer that consolidates disparate sources to power automation, which is what lets a workflow enrich a list, score it, and write to each row.
- **Agents with guardrails.** Agents automate targeted tasks with AI decision-making, but the vendor emphasizes guardrails rather than free-running autonomy.
- **Brand Voice and Infobase.** Brand Voice defines your brand's personality for consistent output; Infobase is the centralized repository of company information every workflow can read.
- **Model-agnostic.** Copy.ai advertises support for OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Perplexity models, so you are not tied to one provider's strengths.
- **2,000+ integrations.** The homepage lists sales prospecting, content localization, lead enrichment, and CRM intelligence as flagship use cases, with an enterprise tier adding API access and bulk workflow runs.

## In a marketer's workflow

Copy.ai is strongest when a process has structure you can describe. A content team might build a workflow that takes a product update, checks it against Infobase, drafts the announcement in Brand Voice, and produces a localized version for each region in a Table. The same logic can be expressed for an agent outside the platform. If your team already lives in a repo of campaign files, the [Claude Code for marketers](/guides/marketing/claude-code-for-marketers) guide shows the equivalent pattern with skills and slash commands:

```text
Read ./brand/voice.md and ./brand/facts.md. For each row in
launch-regions.csv, draft a 120-word announcement in that region's
language, cite only facts from facts.md, and write the output to
./out/<region>.md with a short note on any fact you could not verify.
```

The trade-off is that Copy.ai gives you the data layer, integrations, and a UI your sales colleagues can use; the agent route gives you version control and no per-seat fee. [Brand voice with Claude skills](/guides/marketing/brand-voice-with-claude-skills) covers how to encode the voice definition itself.

> [!NOTE]
> Workflow credits, not words, are the metered unit on Growth and above. Copy.ai's FAQ says a credit's value "depends on the complexity of the tasks performed," so budget by running a representative workflow rather than by counting outputs.

## Good to know

Copy.ai is a hosted web platform. As of September 2026 the pricing page lists a Chat plan at $29 per month on monthly billing or $24 on annual (billed $288 a year) with 5 seats, unlimited words in chat, and OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini models; the platform plans are annual only: Growth at $1,000 per month (75 seats, 20K workflow credits a month), Expansion at $2,000 (150 seats, 45K credits), and Scale at $3,000 (200 seats, 75K credits). Enterprise is custom and adds guided implementation, API access, bulk workflow runs, and a designated account team. No free plan is listed.

That price structure tells you who the product is for: Growth and up are team purchases. A solo marketer comparing writing assistants should look at [Jasper](/tools/jasper) for content governance or [Claude](/tools/claude) with a brand-voice skill. If the process you want to automate lives inside HubSpot, [HubSpot Breeze](/tools/hubspot-breeze) runs agents on the CRM data directly. The [best AI writing tools in 2026](/guides/comparisons/best-ai-writing-tools-2026) roundup covers the writing side, and [best AI tools for marketers](/guides/comparisons/best-ai-tools-for-marketers-2026) covers the platform decision.
