VEED is a browser video editor with AI-generated timed subtitles. After generating a track from uploaded media, users can edit subtitle text and timing; the interface marks some low-confidence words. Existing SRT or VTT tracks can also be supplied. Subtitle-file downloads depend on the plan; the help page identifies Pro and Enterprise access. Editing the media after generation may invalidate cue timing. [VEED's automatic-subtitle help](https://support.veed.io/en/articles/11172739-how-to-add-subtitles-to-your-video-automatically) documents these details.

## Bring a final cut and a review plan

Our suggested first trial is a short clip whose cut is stable. Keep the original captions, name the media version, and make a separate correction ledger. Evaluate whether the editing surface makes proposed text and timing repairs practical for your team. This is a workflow proposal, not a word-accuracy benchmark or a claim that the tool exports our ledger schema.

In the fictional community-garden example, the draft says “We did open the gate.” A supplied human listening note confirms “We did not open the gate.” Another draft says “Mirror has the key”; the listener confirms the name Mira. The useful review record preserves both original strings and the evidence for each proposed change.

The [caption-review guide](/guides/voice/review-ai-captions-before-publishing) walks through that frozen-cut process. A glossary match can suggest a name, but the listener must confirm the spoken word. A smoother sentence alone is insufficient evidence for a repair.

## Make approval specific to the cue

Assign each issue a cue ID and interval. Record whether it concerns text, speaker identity, a meaningful sound, or timing. Leave unknown words pending. If a listener identifies a latch click at one timestamp, use playback to decide the actual display interval rather than inventing an end time.

The [Caption Reviewer](/agents/marketing/caption-reviewer) can organize the ledger from supplied caption text and listening evidence. It must say when audio was unavailable. Reading a transcript does not mean the agent heard the clip, and a structural SRT check does not settle the correct words.

[Automatic captioning](/glossary/automatic-captioning) is the draft stage in this proposed workflow. The next deliverable is a reviewed track for the named cut. Keep publication with the user after the listener checks the repaired track in the delivery player.

## Access and export planning

As checked on October 7, 2026, VEED has a free starting tier and paid upgrades. Check access before planning your delivery workflow. [VEED pricing](https://www.veed.io/pricing) is the primary reference.

For your trial, decide whether the intended deliverable is an edited video or a separate caption file and verify that your account supports the required action. This page does not promise free SRT downloads. Preserve the source track regardless of how you deliver the approved version. If the video later changes, reopen timing review for affected cues. A track approved for an earlier cut should not inherit approval for a revised one merely because its text still looks correct.
