Surveymonkey
SurveyMonkey combines AI survey drafting with editable survey questions and plan-dependent skip logic for respondent paths.
Review a SurveyMonkey questionnaire with separate wording and respondent-path acceptance records.
Evaluate SurveyMonkey around a concrete questionnaire and an owner who will maintain its routes. Separate acceptance of drafted questions from acceptance of respondent navigation. The first asks whether the text expresses the approved questions; the second asks whether a known answer path shows the intended questions and ending.
The current Build with AI help describes prompt-based drafting, preview and editing, with account and regional restrictions. Skip logic is plan-dependent. Check both in the chosen workspace rather than treating AI access as evidence that every intended route is available.
Proposed workshop test
This is an evaluation plan using a fictional questionnaire, not a tested product result. The owner wants Q1 to ask whether the respondent attended a previous workshop. Yes should show Q2 with morning and evening choices; no should end at E-not-attended. Both Q2 choices should reach E-thanks.
Prepare the survey branching plan before asking for a draft. Supply question text, one selected choice per routing question, stable IDs, required-answer rules and ending text. Mark every missing owner decision as unresolved. An operator should be able to trace each saved route back to this packet.
Review the drafted wording first. Reject a change that turns an interest question into a registration promise or introduces an eligibility rule. Once the text is approved, configure only the approved destinations and run the survey logic tests from fresh preview starts.
The no-attendance case matters even though it is short. If Q2 appears after no, record the extra question as a failed path. Do not accept the draft merely because its final thank-you message sounds reasonable. Keep the observed question sequence, ending and form version in the review ledger.
Maintenance and decision evidence
Ask the person who will own the survey to explain how they would add an approved choice and update its route. Have them identify which preview cases must be rerun after that change. This tests whether the workflow remains understandable after initial generation; it does not require publishing or collecting responses during evaluation.
Record unsupported behavior and the owner’s chosen remedy. A route that cannot be represented in the available account should remain a gap until the owner approves a simpler questionnaire or another workspace. Do not approximate it silently. Keep approved requirements distinct from platform configuration so a later account or draft change can be reviewed.
Plan and workflow fit
The individual plans page lists free Basic access and paid plans. Confirm the current limits and required AI and logic features for the actual account. This profile does not quote prices or assume that a feature applies to every customer.
Use Typeform as another destination for the same test packet when comparing form workflows. Keep the evaluation small enough to inspect every relevant path. SurveyMonkey fits when the team can maintain the approved questionnaire, access its required routing features and preserve a preview record. Downstream analysis of open responses is a separate job; a successful navigation test establishes only that the checked form showed the intended path.
