Workable
Workable combines recruiting and HR software with AI drafting tools, configurable interview kits, shared rating scales, and candidate feedback records.
Workable is worth evaluating when a hiring team needs a shared interview kit within its recruiting workflow. Begin with an approved role rubric so the evaluation tests whether the team's questions and evidence can be recorded as intended.
Interview kits can be created, imported, or generated from structured job requirements and used at eligible stages. They support common rating scales and notes, with unobserved topics left unscored. Workable interview-kit documentation.
Separate free manager tools generate editable job descriptions and interview kits that can be shared or downloaded. Existing ATS jobs are not imported into those tools. Workable free manager tools.

Evaluate the kit before candidate use
Illustrative fictional fixture: an operations-coordinator rubric has two competencies: reconcile duplicate records while retaining evidence, and escalate blocked approvals while preserving the owner. This is a proposed evaluation exercise, not a Workable trial or a validated hiring instrument.
Prepare the kit outside the product first. For each competency, include an approved source task, a common question, three observable anchors, and a distinct Unobserved outcome. Keep the planned weights and their rationale alongside the rubric. Candidate data is unnecessary for this preparation exercise.
Try the chosen kit workflow with the synthetic rubric. Check whether the questions, scale, and notes are visible at the intended stage and understandable to the interviewers who will use them. Inspect the saved version against the approved source packet. A missing anchor should be repaired before the kit becomes the team's shared reference.
Use invented practice answers to test the recordkeeping. One answer preserves conflicting records and seeks clarification; another also records the conflict and checks source history. Ask reviewers to identify the observed behaviors using the same anchors. If the form encourages a score when no relevant evidence was observed, settle the team's Unobserved handling before using the kit.
Check how reviewers find the applicable rubric version and record the reason for their judgment. The useful evaluation result is whether the workflow preserves evidence and makes the approved rubric accessible. It is not an automated judgment about an applicant's suitability.
Connect the preparation steps
The AI interview-scorecard guide maps role tasks to questions and rating anchors. Structured interview explains why common questions and evaluation standards matter beyond having a numeric form.
For supplied local role packets, job-scorecard-builder drafts the rubric. The interview scorecard reviewer checks unsupported criteria and task coverage, while check-scorecard checks the exported structure and weight arithmetic. These optional Claude Code files do not connect to Workable or evaluate applicants.
Confirm the capabilities, access, and stage setup of the product surface you choose. Human role and HR reviewers approve questions and process; interviewers use the approved rubric and organizational hiring procedure when assessing actual responses.
