Lindy

Lindy is the "AI employee" idea made concrete: one teammate, living in your Slack, that sits in your meetings, reads the tools you connect, and does recurring work on its own. The company describes it as an AI teammate that knows everything your company knows and does the actual work, and the product is organized around that framing rather than around a canvas of triggers and boxes.

For a founder, that means less time designing automations and more time delegating. You tell Lindy what you want in chat, it does the task, and if you want it repeated you save it as a skill or schedule it as a routine. Everything it creates belongs to the workspace, so when a second person joins they inherit the same skills, routines, and meeting library.

Highlights

• Meetings handled end to end. Lindy joins Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams as a named participant, records and transcribes, and files meetings in folders you can search and act on.
• Skills: teach it once. A skill is a named playbook for a procedure you repeat. Do it once in chat and Lindy saves the process, or write instructions on the Skills page; team skills are shared across the workspace.
• Routines: recurring work on autopilot. A routine has a trigger (daily, weekly, monthly, or an event such as an email received, a Slack message, a calendar event starting, or a meeting ending), a prompt, and a destination. Smart Filters narrow event triggers in plain English.
• 1,000+ integrations plus MCP. Gmail, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Salesforce, Snowflake, and more, with MCP support for tools that are not in the catalog.
• Approval on writes. Lindy's docs state that write actions always wait for your approval, so emails, CRM updates, and posts do not go out without a human.
• Reachable where you are. Slack, iMessage, the browser, and a Chrome extension; the pricing page also lists computer use and model selection on all plans.

In a founder's workflow

The natural first routine is the daily brief plus follow-up hygiene, because it touches inbox, calendar, and CRM at once:

Once that runs cleanly, teach a skill by doing it once: draft the post-meeting recap email in your voice, tell Lindy to save it as a skill, and it will offer the same format after every future meeting. Good to know

Lindy is a hosted product; there is nothing to install beyond the Slack app and optional Chrome extension. As of September 2026 the pricing page lists Plus at $29.99 per user per month with 3,000 credits, Pro at $99.99 with 15,000 credits, Max at $199.99 with 35,000 credits, and a custom Enterprise plan adding HIPAA compliance with a signed BAA, SSO, audit logs, and dedicated support. Credits measure how much work a task takes and are pooled across the team; the docs note that Lindy pauses on a heavy task rather than silently draining the pool. New teammates who join via Slack get their first week free, while direct signups are billed immediately, and no free plan is displayed.
